Affiliate Program Terms
Effective October 17, 2026 · Last updated October 17, 2026
Thank you for helping people discover Taüt Beauty. These terms explain how your referral link works, what earns a commission, when and how you get paid, and the ground rules for promoting us — with the important parts first.
1.Agreement to these Terms
These Affiliate Program Terms (the “Affiliate Terms”) are an agreement between you and Taut Beauty LLC (“Taüt Beauty”, “we”, “us”). They apply when you take part in our affiliate program (the “Program”) by receiving a referral link or code from us, signing in to the partner dashboard, or promoting Taüt Beauty using a link we gave you.
They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Affiliate Terms, do not promote Taüt Beauty through the Program.
2.Joining the Program
The Program is by invitation. We decide who joins and may decline, pause or end anyone’s participation at any time. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. If you join on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it.
You agree to give us accurate information and keep it up to date. Your sign-in is a one-time link sent to your email address, so you are responsible for keeping that mailbox secure. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account.
3.Your relationship with us
You are an independent contractor. Nothing in the Program makes you our employee, agent, partner or joint venturer, and you have no authority to make promises, give warranties or enter into contracts on our behalf. You decide how, when and whether to promote Taüt Beauty, and you bear your own costs. Your relationship with Stripe, if you use it for payouts, is separate from your relationship with us (see Getting paid).
4.Your link and how referrals are tracked
Each affiliate has a personal referral link containing a unique code. When someone opens your link, we store a small first-party cookie in their browser that records your code. If that person places an order on our site within 30 days, the order is credited to you. If a person opens more than one affiliate’s link, the most recent one is the one credited.
Tracking depends on technology we do not control. Clearing cookies, using private browsing or another device or browser, blocking cookies, or ordering through a different route can all mean a sale is not attributed to you. We do not guarantee that every sale influenced by you will be credited. Our records are the records of the Program, and our determination of which orders are credited to you is final, absent obvious error.
The only information in the cookie is your code. We count visits to your link without recording who the visitor is.
5.What earns a commission
You earn a commission on each order that is credited to you, at the percentage shown in your partner dashboard (your “Rate”). The commission is calculated on the net product revenue of the order: what the customer actually paid for the Product, after discounts and promotion codes, and after any refunds or chargebacks. It does not include shipping, taxes or payment fees.
Pre-orders
Some pre-orders are placed with a deposit now and the balance paid later, when the order is ready to ship. A pre-order only earns a commission once it is paid in full. A deposit on its own does not earn a commission, and if the customer cancels, is refunded or never pays the balance, no commission is earned. Your dashboard shows pre-orders waiting on their balance as “awaiting balance” so you can see what is on the way.
What does not earn a commission
- Orders you place yourself, or that are placed by your household, or by you under a different name or email address;
- Orders that are refunded, canceled, charged back, or found to be fraudulent, in whole or (proportionally) in part;
- Orders that come through a link or promotion that breaks these Affiliate Terms;
- Waitlist sign-ups — they are shown in your dashboard for information but are not sales; and
- Test, internal or wholesale orders.
Your Rate applies to orders placed after the Rate is set. If we change your Rate, the new Rate applies to future orders only; orders already credited keep the Rate that applied when they were placed.
6.Getting paid
When a commission becomes payable
A commission becomes payable 30 days after the order is paid in full. This hold period covers our return window and the time in which payment disputes usually arrive. A commission on an order that is the subject of an open payment dispute stays on hold until the dispute is resolved.
Payouts
We pay out the balance that has become payable when it reaches at least $25; smaller balances roll into the next payout. All amounts are in US dollars. We may pay out on our own schedule rather than automatically, and we may combine commissions into one payment.
Paying through Stripe
Where it is available, we pay commissions through Stripe Connect. To receive payouts you create a Stripe account through a link in your dashboard, accept Stripe’s terms (including the Stripe Connected Account Agreement) and give Stripe the identity, bank and tax information it requires. Stripe collects and holds that information on its own pages; we do not see or store your bank details. Stripe’s verification, payout timing and fees (if any are passed on to you) are governed by Stripe’s terms, and we are not responsible for Stripe’s services. If Stripe is not available where you live, we will agree another way to pay you.
Taxes
You are responsible for all taxes on what you earn. We may ask for tax forms (for example, a Form W-9 or W-8) and may be required to report payments to tax authorities, including by issuing a Form 1099 where the law requires it. We may withhold or delay payment until you provide the information we need, and may withhold amounts the law requires.
If a commission is reversed after it is paid
If an order is refunded or charged back after we have paid its commission, the commission is reversed. We may deduct the amount from your future payouts, and if you stop earning we may ask you to repay it. We may also deduct amounts you owe us under these Affiliate Terms.
7.How you may promote us
You agree to promote Taüt Beauty honestly and lawfully. In particular:
- Disclose the relationship. The law (including the US FTC’s Endorsement Guides) requires you to clearly and conspicuously disclose that you earn a commission or receive a benefit — for example “#ad”, “I earn a commission if you buy through my link” — placed where people will see it, in the same medium and language as your promotion, and not buried in a bio, a hashtag cloud or a link.
- Be truthful. Only make claims that are accurate and that we can support. Taüt Beauty is a cosmetic device: do not say or imply that it diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents any condition, that it replaces medical care, or that any result is guaranteed or typical when it is not. Share your own genuine experience, and make clear that individual results vary. Do not invent reviews or testimonials.
- Follow the law and platform rules. That includes advertising, consumer-protection, anti-spam (such as CAN-SPAM and TCPA), privacy and intellectual-property laws, and the rules of any platform you post on.
- Use our brand properly. Use only materials we provide or approve, and do not suggest you are us or speak for us.
- Keep non-public information confidential. Until we announce them, do not share launch dates, pricing, product details or other non-public information we give you.
8.What is not allowed
You may not, and may not let anyone else:
- bid on or buy ads for Taüt Beauty’s name, trademarks or misspellings, or register domains, handles or accounts that use or resemble them;
- use cookie-stuffing, forced or hidden clicks, pop-unders, hidden frames, malware, browser extensions or any technique that credits you for a visit the person did not choose to make;
- buy through your own link, or create fake orders, accounts or reviews to earn commissions;
- offer discounts, cash-back or rebates funded from your commission without our written permission, or post our promotion codes on coupon sites;
- send unsolicited bulk messages, or promote us on sites or in content that is unlawful, hateful, deceptive, sexually explicit or otherwise harmful to our reputation;
- claim to be endorsed by us or by anyone connected with us, or imply that we have approved your content when we have not; or
- interfere with or try to gain unauthorized access to the Site, the dashboard or other people’s accounts.
If we believe you have broken these rules, we may withhold, reverse or cancel commissions connected to the breach and suspend or end your participation immediately.
9.Customer and personal information
We do not give affiliates customers’ personal information. Your dashboard shows order references, dates, status and your commission, but not customers’ names, email addresses or addresses. Do not try to obtain that information, and do not contact customers about their orders.
We use your name, email address, referral activity and payout details to run the Program, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you collect personal information from your own audience, you are responsible for doing so lawfully.
10.Our brand and content
While you are in the Program, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Taüt Beauty name, logo and materials we provide or approve, solely to promote Taüt Beauty under these Affiliate Terms. We own all rights in our brand, Products, Site and materials, and nothing here transfers any of them to you. You keep ownership of the content you create, and you give us permission to repost or share it (with credit) to promote Taüt Beauty unless you tell us otherwise.
11.Changes and ending the Program
Either of us may end your participation at any time by telling the other. We may also pause or end it immediately if we believe you have broken these Affiliate Terms, if we suspect fraud, or if we close the Program. When your participation ends, your link stops crediting new orders.
Commissions you have validly earned before it ends will still be paid when they become payable, less any reversals — except commissions connected to a breach or to fraud, which are forfeited.
We may update the Program or these Affiliate Terms — including how we calculate commissions, the hold period or the payout minimum. We will tell you by email or in your dashboard. Changes apply to orders placed after they take effect; if you keep promoting Taüt Beauty after that, you accept them.
12.Disclaimers and limits on liability
The Program, the partner dashboard and the Site are provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no promise about how much you will earn — you may earn nothing — or that tracking, the dashboard or payouts will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or goodwill, arising from the Program. Our total liability to you for anything connected with the Program is limited to the commissions we paid or owed you in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13.Your responsibility for your promotion
You will defend and indemnify Taut Beauty LLC, and its owners, officers and employees, against claims, losses and reasonable costs (including legal fees) that arise from your promotion of Taüt Beauty, content you create, your breach of these Affiliate Terms, or your violation of law or someone else’s rights.
14.Governing law and disputes
These Affiliate Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Please contact us first and give us a chance to resolve any dispute informally. If we cannot, the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California have exclusive jurisdiction, and each of us consents to them.
15.General
These Affiliate Terms, together with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us about the Program. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your participation to anyone else; we may transfer it in connection with a sale or reorganization of our business. We may give you notices by email or in your dashboard.
